Removing Rear Anti-Roll Bar (PDCC)

WARNING: Caustic fluids 
  • Danger of chemical burns 
    1. Wear personal protective gear.
    2. Ensure that there is good ventilation.
    3. Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
    4. If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.

  1. Mark the installation position -arrow-  of the anti-roll-bar mount halves with respect to the anti-roll bar with a paint marker.

  2. Remove the fastening screws on the valve block cover -8-  and take off the cover.

    Information 

    The anti-roll bar halves can turn following removal and hydraulic fluid will leak out.

    • Close the openings in the anti-roll bar using suitable plugs or screw plugs. 
  3. Remove the union nuts -9-  on the two lines at the rear valve block. Use a container to collect emerging fluid and close off the lines using suitable stoppers.

  4. Unclip the two lines for the rear valve block from the brackets.

  5. Remove the connecting links at the left and right of the anti-roll bar.
  6. Carefully remove the anti-roll bar while taking care not to damage adjacent components.
