Subsequent Work: Reworking

- Perform the basic brake shoe adjustment and calibrate the electric parking brake actuators.
- Connect level sensor to front upper control arm.
> 431955 Replacing rear level sensor - section on "INSTALLING "
Make sure that the level sensor linkage is pointing outwards.
- Mount the wheel.
> 440519 Remove and install wheel - section on "INSTALLING "
- Tighten the axle nut (drive shaft mount on wheel side) (2nd step!). Activate the brake while doing this (2nd mechanic required).
> Tightening torque 460 Nm (339.3 ftlb.)
- For vehicles with air suspension:
Fill air springs.
- Align suspension.
