Installing Trailing Arm

Dimension X - lower edge of wing to centre of axle (shown as an example)

• All screws and bolts on the axle must be tightened in vehicle position. Vehicle position means: vehicle standing on its wheels, or the wheel suspension is raised with a universal vehicle lift. Dimension -X- , from lower edge of wing to centre of axle corresponds to vehicle position. For the current height values, please refer to the adjustment values for suspension alignment

• Visually inspect all parts. 
• Replace self-locking nuts. 
• Replace all expansion screws (screws fitted using torque angle tightening procedure). 
• Use correct tightening torques and torque angle.

1. Insert the lower trailing arm into the mounting.
2. Insert and fit the front fastening screw -1-  into the rear axle housing -3-  and trailing arm -2-  .

3. Insert the eccentric screw -1-  for the trailing arm -2-  into the rear axle housing -3-  .

4. When inserting the eccentric screw -1-  , make sure that the markings -A-  on the rear axle housing -2-  and eccentric screw are aligned.

5. Fit eccentric screw.
6. Insert and fit the fastening screw -1-  used to secure the trailing arm -2-  to the wheel bearing housing -3-  .
