Installing Rear Axle

WARNING: Moving components

Danger of limbs being trapped or severed
1. Do not reach into the danger area.
2. Secure the system to prevent it from being activated accidentally.
3. Keep third parties away from the danger area.

Installation is performed in reverse order.
> WM, 4X00IN TIGHTENING TORQUES FOR REAR AXLE
Position the rear axle housing back in its original, marked installation position and tighten it.

Replace circlip at the input flange of the rear final drive.

For vehicles with PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control - anti-roll stabilisation):
On vehicles with PDCC, the lines (pressure line, return line) at the PDCC valve block must be fitted from rear axle to front axle.
