Removing Front Spring Strut (Steel Springs)

Wheel bearing housing raised incorrectly

- Do not raise the wheel suspension higher than the normal vehicle position (vehicle resting on wheels).
Information
For vehicles with PDCC, raise the wheel suspension slightly using a transmission jack (do not raise wheel suspension higher than normal vehicle position (vehicle resting on wheels). This changes the angular position of the control arm and the spring strut can be removed by turning carefully.

Front spring strut (steel springs)
- Screw fastening nuts -1-
off the upper spring strut.
Upper spring strut (steel spring) mounting (shown as an example)
- Carefully pull the spring strut -1- down -A- and then remove it in an upward direction -B- .
