Installing Upper Trailing Arm

Information
Dimension -X- : lower edge of wing to centre of axle (shown as an example)
- All screws and bolts on the axle must be tightened in vehicle position. Vehicle position means: vehicle resting on its wheels, or the wheel suspension is lifted with a universal jack. -Dimension X- from lower edge of wing to centre of axle corresponds to vehicle position. For the current height values, please refer to the adjustment values for suspension alignment
- Visually inspect all parts.
- Replace self-locking nuts.
- Replace all expansion screws (screws fitted using torque angle tightening procedure).
- Use correct tightening torques and torque angle.

Information
The dimension is measured as follows:
- Always check the installation dimension when installing the upper axle support.
- Centre of ball joint (upper side)
- To the lower double panel (panel closest to the control arm)
- Fit axle support -2-
and screw in fastening screws -1-
.

The ball joint pin must be pointing downwards.

- Always check that the upper axle support is fitted in installation position.
Installation position dimension -X- : > Length 118.5 mm +/- 6 mm
- Upper side of ball joint -1-
