Installing Drive Plate For Torque Converter

Information
- Clean the crankshaft flange before fitting the drive plate (remove corrosion/rust).
- Use a metal-polishing pad (e.g. Never Dull) for this.
- Be careful not to remove the bearing classification on the crankshaft flange when cleaning it. Write the bearing classification down on a separate sheet if necessary and place it in the service booklet.
- Fit drive plate. Fit new screws.
- Block the drive plate. To do this, position > 9538/1 - toothed segment on a screw hole on the crankcase so that at least one tooth engages. > Flywheel blocked

- Tighten the new screws in diagonally opposite sequence. >
> Tightening torque 60 (44 ftlb.) Nm
> Torque angle 90°
- Unscrew the toothed segment.
