Securing V8 Engine On Assembly Support

- The engine needs to be suspended on an assembly support for certain repair work.

- A modified engine support is used on the Cayenne E2 because of the Start Stop starter.
- The turbo engine, including flywheel, weighs about 250 kg. To avoid overloading the engine support, make sure that there are no additional loads (e.g. heavy components stored in the vehicle or a person sitting in the vehicle).

- Secure > 9676/1 - engine support to the engine. To do this, use the four screws > 9590 - mounting elements and tighten them. > Engine support

- Move engine in front of the engine support (assembly support) using the workshop crane and guide it in with the help of a second worker. Raise engine so that the engine can be eased in horizontally. > Engine crane and engine on assembly support
