Fitting Engine Support

Information 

• The engine needs to be suspended on an assembly support for certain repair work. 

1. Remove right engine support arm. To do this, loosen the four fastening screws > Fastening screws

2. Fit the engine support > 3269 - engine support. Make sure the mounting shaft is positioned centrally in the longitudinal direction of the engine. Fit the fastening screws. > Tightening torque 45 (33 ft lb.) Nm

3. Lift the engine with the workshop crane and secure it on the assembly support. To do this, guide the engine support straight into the assembly support WE 1171 or a similar support, without tilting it.
