Removing Air Cleaner Housing

Air cleaner housing - V8 Turbo

1. Remove the air guide.

   > 243619 Removing and installing air guide - section on "REMOVING "

2. Loosen connections on the air cleaner covers. To do this, turn the bolts 180° and pull them out > Loosening connections on air cleaner  . Pull off intake pipes.

3. Open the cover on the air cleaner housing.

   To do this, unclip the two fastening clamps -arrows-  using a suitable tool.

4. Fold the cover -1-  of the air cleaner housing -2-  forward at the top -A-  and pull it out in an upward direction -B-  .

5. Remove air-cleaner element.

   > 242455 Replacing air-cleaner element - section on "REPLACING "

6. Loosen the fastening screw -arrow-  on the air cleaner housing.

7. Lift the air cleaner housing, tip it towards the engine and remove it from the engine compartment. > Air cleaner housing
