Removing And Installing Front Spring Strut (Steel Springs)

  1. Remove the relevant side engine compartment trim. → 700219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT COVER (ENGINE COMPARTMENT)
  2. Before raising the vehicle, loosen the drive shaft mounting at the wheel side. Operate the brake while doing so (a second mechanic is required). → 404119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT DRIVE SHAFT 
  3. Remove the drive shaft. → 404119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT DRIVE SHAFT
