Installing Rear Level Sensor

Plug in electric connector -arrow- on the level sensor -arrow- until the connector engages securely.

Information
- In running gear with level adjustment, a level sensor is installed on each spring strut.
- The level sensor is screwed to the chassis subframe and front upper wishbone.
- Make sure that the level sensor is fitted with the swivel range of the lever towards the outside of the vehicle.
Tighten the fastening screws -3- ;

Engage level sensor lever and position the sensor.
Position the fastening nut -2- , counter with an open-ended wrench on the two flats -1- and tighten the nut
> Refer to the appropriate Tightening torques service information.

If a new level sensor is installed, then the control unit for level adjustment must be calibrated.
