WM, 430115 Calibrating The Levelling System: Information: Conditions

Calibration can only be carried out while vehicle is stationary.

The vehicle must stand "floating" on the measuring platform to avoid straining the axles.

The electric parking brake must be applied.

Close the doors and tailgate.

Select >>Height sensor system component test<< before starting calibration.

The vehicle rises first and then moves to normal level during the height sensor system component test.

  1. Connect the Porsche System Tester. Select Control unit overview >>Levelling system/PASM<<>>Maintenance/repairs<< Height sensor system component test.
  2. After Normal Level has been reached, determine the actual value of the axle heights at the measuring points. For the current comparative values for the vehicle height, please refer to the adjustment values for suspension alignment

    > 4495TW ADJUSTMENT VALUES FOR SUSPENSION ALIGNMENT .

The measured values for the vehicle height must correspond to the values specified under Adjustment values for suspension alignment.

If an implausible value is entered (actual value is not accepted), check the height sensors for mechanical damage (bent linkage, bent holders).

Then measure the height again and enter the value. Follow the instructions on the Tester.
