Installing Vacuum Pump

Vacuum pump with connections

1  Vacuum pump
2  Screw, M6 x 25
3  Sealing ring
4  Sealing ring
5  Secondary load connection
  1. Carefully loosen and lever off sealing rings -3, 4-  using a suitable tool.
  2. Clean contact surfaces of sealing rings -3, 4-  and fit new sealing rings -3, 4-  .
  3. Install vacuum pump.
    1. 3.1 Clean mounting point before installation.
    2. 3.2 Install vacuum pump -1-  .

      Vacuum pump

      Align driver for vacuum pump -1-  and position vacuum pump -1-  .

    3. 3.3 Tighten screws -2-  . > Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.) +/- 1 Nm (0.5 ftlb.) 
  4. Connect vacuum line -2-  to the vacuum pump -3-  and lock the clamp -1-  .

  5. Connect vacuum line -1-  to the vacuum pump -2-  .
