Installing Rear Connecting Link

Dimension 1 - centre of wheel to lower edge of wing (rear axle shown)
Information
- All screws and threaded joints on the axle must be tightened in vehicle position. Vehicle position means: vehicle standing on its wheels or the wheel suspension is raised with a universal vehicle lift. Measurement -1-
from the lower edge of the wing to the middle of the vehicle axle corresponds to vehicle position. The current height values can be found in

Always observe the following points!
- On vehicles with air springs, the respective air spring must be bled using the Porsche System Tester.
- Screws and nuts are Geomet-coated and must not be greased.
- Fit connecting link -5- on the anti-roll bar using the top fastening screw -1- .
- Raise the wheel bearing housing -3-
as far as required using a suitable jack -4-
so that the bottom fastening screw -2-
on the connecting link can be fitted easily.
Rear connecting link
- Fit fastening screws -1, 2-
for the connecting link -5-
.
Connecting link to anti-roll bar: > Tightening torque 100 (74 ftlb.) Nm --
Connecting link to wheel bearing housing/shock absorber strut: > Initial tightening 90 (67 ftlb.) Nm -- > Final tightening + 90 ° --
