Installing Front Connecting Link

Information
Dimension 1 - centre of wheel to lower edge of wing (rear axle shown)
- All screws and threaded joints on the axle must be tightened in vehicle position. Vehicle position means: vehicle standing on its wheels or the wheel suspension is raised with a universal vehicle lift. Measurement -1- from the lower edge of the wing to the middle of the vehicle axle corresponds to vehicle position. The current height values can be found in

. Always observe the following points!
- On vehicles with air springs, the respective air spring must be bled using the Porsche System Tester.
- Screws and nuts are Geomet-coated and must not be greased.
- Lift the lower trailing arm -3-
as far as required using a suitable jack -4-
so that the fastening screws -1. 2-
on the connecting link -5-
can be fitted easily.
Front connecting link
- Screw in the top fastening screw -1- on the connecting link -5- . > Tightening torque 110 (81.5 ftlb.) Nm --
- Screw in the bottom fastening screw -2- on the connecting link -5- . > Tightening torque 110 (81.5 ftlb.) Nm --
- If installed:
Install air guide.
- Fit the relevant wheel.
