Adjusting Multi-Functional Switch

Installation position of multi-functional switch

1. Selector lever is in position N.
2. Unscrew fastening screws -arrows-  and remove heat shield from the transmission.

3. Disconnect electric plug connection from the multi-functional switch.
4. Remove cap nut, cap, nut with tab washer and rubber washer on the multi-functional switch > Multi-functional switch  .

5. Loosen fastening screws -arrows-  .

6. Position special tool > T10173 - adjusting tool  on the shaft and secure to the shaft with a screw -arrow-  .

7. Tighten fastening screws -Arrow-  and remove special tool.

   > Tightening torque 5 (3.5 ftlb.) Nm --

8. Install and tighten cap nut, cap, nut with tab washer and rubber washer on the multi-functional switch > Multifunction switch.

   > Tightening torque 7 (5 ftlb.) Nm --

   > Tightening torque 15 (11 ftlb.) Nm --

9. Connect electric plug connection to the multi-functional switch until it engages securely.
10. Position heat shield on the transmission.
11. Tighten fastening screws -Arrows-  .

    > Tightening torque 10 (7.5 ftlb.) Nm --
