Adjusting Selector Lever Cable

Information 

Position N is marked by an arrow on the selector support.

  1. Shift the selector lever to position N.
    NOTE: The fastening screw for the selector lever cable must not be loosened by more than one turn. 
    • Otherwise, the screw will fall into the selector support and the selector support will have to be replaced. 

      The fastening screw for the selector lever cable must not be loosened by more than one turn.

  2. Loosen the fastening screw in opening -3-  next to the emergency release -4-  for connecting the selector lever cable -2-  and loosen the selector support -1-  b> 180° using a 5-mm Allen key, approx. 15 cm long.

  3. Shift the transmission to position N -A-  .

  4. Tighten fastening screw in small opening -3-  using 5-mm Allen key, approx. 15 cm long  next to the emergency release -4-  for the selector cable -2-  on the selector support -1-  to > Tightening torque 10 (7.5 ftlb.) Nm  --.
