Preliminary Work
- Danger of poisoning or suffocation
- Danger of burns to the eyes and skin
→ Ventilate the work area well.
→ Never ingest or inhale.
→ Read specific information on the Hazard Sheet.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Do not smoke, eat or drink in the work area.
- Danger of fire or explosion
→ Avoid contact with hot parts or sources of ignition.
→ Use suction to remove ignitable vapours.
→ Attach warning sign in a clearly visible position.
→ Contain leaked media using non-flammable absorbent material and put it in a container designed for this purpose for disposal in accordance with local requirements.
→ Secure collection containers/vessels to prevent them from tipping over.
- Risk of damage to fuel tank
→ Only use fuel pumps designed specifically for the vehicle for draining the fuel tank.
Information
- All windows should be opened for better ventilation in the passenger compartment.
- Disconnect the battery.
- Remove rear seat.
- Remove the left and right lid -arrows-
. To do this, remove the carpeted floor. Then loosen the four fastening nuts and remove the lid.

Left and right connection units
1 Right connection unit with pressure regulator 2 Left connection unit with fuel filter - Disconnect all connections on the right connection unit. Disconnect electric plug connections.

- Disconnect electric plug connection from the left connection unit.

- Open the right and left lock using > T10202 - key and lift up the connection units. > Special tool on lid
