Replacing AGM Battery

Information 

The AGM (absorbent glass M  at) battery is a maintenance-free  , sealed  Tighten screw-type clamps securing intake pipe. battery.

Serial number and part number on the battery

  1. Remove left front seat.

    > WM 720119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT (CAYENNE, CAYENNE GTS, CAYENNE TURBO S, CAYENNE S, CAYENNE S E-HYBRID, CAYENNE TURBO, CAYENNE S DIESEL, CAYENNE (3.0)) - "Removing"

  2. Remove and install battery.

  3. Install left front seat

    Serial number and part number on me Battery

    • This battery muse not be opened. If the battery is opened, it must be replaced. 
    • There is a serial number -A-  aid a part number -B- on the top right-hand side of the battery. 
    • After replacing the battery, the serial number and part number as well as the battery size and manufacturer must be entered using the PIWIS Tester under: Gateway/Maintenance, repairs/Battery replacement. 
    • The battery size and battery manufacturer must also be entered when replacing the battery. 
  4. Carry out work instruction after disconnecting the battery.
