Removing Rear Apron
Information
- The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment.
- The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant.
- Some steps must be carried out automatically.
- Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.
- Unscrew fastening screw -1- in frame for light.
- Unscrew fastening screw -2- and remove guide pin -3- .
- Unscrew fastening screws -1- from wheel housing liner.
- Pull wheel cover aside -A- and unscrew fastening screws -1- at the sides of the rear apron -B- .
- Unscrew fastening screws -4- at the bottom of the rear apron.
- Unhook the rear apron at both sides.
- Press left wheel housing liner aside and release and disconnect the wire harness on the left side -a- .
- Unclip top of rear apron from the attachment strip.
- Remove rear apron with the help of another person.
