Adjusting Headlights

The following basic conditions must be ensured when adjusting the main headlight:

• Vehicle and headlight aiming device must be standing on a level surface.
• The vehicle must not be loaded and the tire pressure must comply with the specified values.
• Do not turn the steering.
• Headlight adjustment is performed with the ignition on.

1. Position headlight aiming device -1-  and align it with the center axis -2-  of the dipped beam headlight. Length 945 mm +/-10 mm

2. Switch on ignition.
3. Adjust headlights.
   1. 3.1. Lateral adjustment: Adjust salient point of the light/dark limit to center height adjustment position using adjusting screw -1-  .
   2. 3.2. Height adjustment: Adjust light/dark limit of vehicle using adjusting screw -2-  . → Adjustment value: - 1 %

4. In the case of Xenon headlights and LED headlights, the ignition must be switched off and back on after the adjustment has been made with the lights switched on.
5. Then check the adjustment again.
