Removing Front Camera

Remove cover on front camera -1- .
1. 1.1. Carefully loosen cover on front camera -1- at the bottom, in the mirror base area, using a plastic wedge.
2. 1.2. Carefully loosen cover on front camera -1- at the rear left and right sides using a plastic wedge.
3. 1.3. Pull cover on front camera -1- out of the centering device and remove it -A- .

Unclip GPS antenna -1- , release electric plug connection -2- (-a- ) and disconnect it -A- .

Unclip GSM antenna -1- (-a- ) and remove it -A- . Release electric plug connection -2- (-b- ) and disconnect it -B- .

Do not touch the front camera lens!
Unclip front camera -1- (-2- ) and press it up and out -A- .
Information

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!
- Assembly work may only be carried out if the mechanic is wearing the working clothes and shoes approved by Porsche .
- The new part must only be removed from the ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging just before installation and at the position at which the part is to be installed .
- Never touch the electric pins and plug contacts .

Release electric plug connection -3- (-b- ) and disconnect it -B- .
