Installing Centre Side Member

→ Press on joint immediately after applying adhesive. Otherwise the adhesive bead must be removed and pre-treatment of the surface and application of the adhesive must be repeated.

→ Do not apply pressure to bonded parts until hardening is complete.

1. Apply adhesive

   Apply adhesive in areas A and B. See: Working with adhesive → Information On The Use Of Structural Adhesives In Vehicle Construction

2. Resistance spot-weld areas A, B  on the center side member.

3. Plug weld area C1  on the center side member using inert gas. Resistance spot-weld areas C and D on the center side member.
