Component And Assembly Overview (With And Without Pasm)
There are two different types of suspension: standard running gear and PASM chassis.
The Boxster S and Cayman S come with the PASM chassis as standard.

Use a new lock nut. Tightening torque: 80 Nm (59 ftlb.). Position the spring strut mount -3- with respect to the vibration damper -10- before tightening the lock nut. Then, (on PASM spring struts only) align the stop plate -2- with respect to the spring strut mount -3- . Description can be found in the Assembly section. |
