WM 481019 Removing And Installing Steering Wheel (All Models): Installation

Information 

• The steering wheel is made of magnesium alloy. The tightening torques must be strictly observed  .
• Wheels straight ahead and observe the previously-applied markings  .
• Always replace multiple-tooth screw following removal (micro-encapsulated thread)  .
• Observe specified tightening torque.  → Tightening torque + torque angle: 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)+90° 
• Airbag unit must lock with an audible click! Check by pulling on the airbag unit  .

The steering wheel is installed in reverse order.
