WM 477619 Removing And Installing Vacuum Pump - As Of Model Year 2009 (All Models): Information

A vacuum pump is used to create the vacuum for the brake booster. As of model year 2009, this vacuum pump is designed as a solo pump -1-  (up to model year 2008, this vacuum pump, together with the oil suction pump on the left cylinder head, is designed as a tandem pump).

It is driven by the outlet camshaft on the left cylinder bank.
