Removing Starter

  1. Remove protection cap -3-  from over the electric connections for the starter.

  2. Screw off fastening nuts -1 and 2-  on the electric connections at the starter.
  3. Remove electric connections -3 and 4-  (-arrow-  ).

  4. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  on the cable duct.

  5. Pull off connectors for injectors -2-  on both cylinder banks -arrow-  .
  6. Release connectors on the rear knock sensors on both cylinder banks -a-  and pull them off -arrow-  .

  7. Carefully hold the cable duct to one side.
  8. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  on the starter.

  9. Remove wastegate cycle valve -1-  from the bracket -arrow-  .

  10. Remove the starter.
