Preparing Rear Side Panel For Installation (Roof Removed)

  1. Fit rear side panel.
    1. 1.1. Cut rear side panel at the transitions to the body leaving an overlap of 30 mm.

    2. 1.2. Fit rear side panel.

      Observe gap dimensions.

    3. 1.3. Make cuts through the rear side panel and body in the overlap areas.
  2. Drill holes for rivets through the existing holes using a 6.6-mm drill bit Twist drill nr.201  .

  3. Remove rear side panel.
  4. Countersink bores from the outside for installing countersunk rivets Countersink nr.202  .
  5. Prepare connection areas for bonding.
