Removing Inner A-Pillar Panel

  1. Heat up sealing elements with a hot-air gun and remove them.

    Information 

    Drill out spotwelds A  through two plate thicknesses.

  2. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill Nr.129  .

  3. Loosen welded joint.

    Information 

    Drill out spotwelds B  through three plate thicknesses.

    1. 3.1. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill Nr.129  .
    2. 3.2. Grind down MIG seams -A-  .

  4. Loosen bonded areas.
    1. 4.1. Bend up sheetmetal bracket -arrow-  .

    2. 4.2. Heat up connection areas using a hot-air gun.
    3. 4.3. Remove inner A-pillar panel.
