Installing Rear Spoiler Seal

Clean bonding surface with silicone remover.
Pull off protective film on new rear spoiler seal.
Fit rear spoiler seal at the corner -arrow- , align it so that it is flush with the upper edge and press it on along its entire length.

Install closing element of rear spoiler.
1. 4.1. Place closing element of rear spoiler -2- in installation position -arrow A- .
2. 4.2. Align closing element of rear spoiler -2- with the markings with respect to the spoiler drive -3- on both sides.
  Information
  - Never make alterations to the micro-self-locking screws, which have a negative effect on the bonding (e.g. using lubricant, loosening bolts and screwing them down again).
  - Replace micro-self-locking screws.
3. 4.3. Secure closing element of rear spoiler -2- with the fastening screws -1- on both sides and tighten to the specified tightening torque Tightening torque 4.5 Nm (3 ftlb.) +/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.) until secure -arrows B- .
