Installing Inner Roof Pillar Panel

Information 

• Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
• The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
• Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 

Information 

Apply adhesive between inner C-pillar panel and C-pillar reinforcement.

1. Apply adhesive. → Application depth: 3.0 mm 

   Working with body structural adhesive → 5X00IN WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE

2. Fit inner roof pillar panel, roof pillar, B-pillar and roof with all add-on parts and secure in installation position with the straightening bracket.

   Information 

   The tack-welds must be removed again following installation of the component.

3. Tack-weld the inner roof pillar panel using inert gas.
4. Remove roof pillar, B-pillar and roof with all add-on parts.
5. Resistance spot-weld the inner roof pillar panel.
