Removing Cutoff Relay
NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to loads or to the control unit
→ Disconnect the battery before removing the component or control unit.
WARNING:
Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.
→ Observe specified tightening torques.
→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.
- Switch off ignition and remove remote control.
- Unscrew and remove the fastening screw on the power distributor (HSB) -arrow A- .
- Pull the power distributor (HSB) up out of the guide -arrow B- and carefully set it aside.
- Release the cover on the power distributor (HSB) and open it.
- Release electric plug connections for the cutoff relays and disconnect them.
- Unclip the (HSB) control unit at the clips -1- and set it aside together with the connections.
- Unscrew fastening nuts on the cutoff relays.
- Pull the eyelets -2- of the electric lines up and out.
- First remove cutoff relay -3- , then cutoff relay -4- .
