Removing Rear Anti-Roll Bar
WARNING:
Caustic fluids
- Danger of chemical burns
→ Avoid contact with caustic fluid.
→ Wear personal protective gear.
→ Ensure that there is good ventilation.
→ If you do come into contact, wash off immediately with plenty of warm water and contact a doctor if necessary.
NOTE:
Aggressive fluids
- Risk of damage to components and surfaces
→ Do not spill fluids.
→ In the event of contact, wash the component or surface with water.
→ Replace components that are already damaged.
Information
PDCC chassis:
- Steel flexi-pipes are particularly sensitive to kinking and crushing.
- Treat the steel flexi-pipes with great care when removing, storing and reinstalling the anti-roll bar.
- Make sure that the steel flexi-pipes are not subject to any mechanical loads during the following operations.
- Screw off suspension/stabilizer -1-

- 1.1. Screw off fastening nut -2- .
- 1.2. Counter ball pin using cone wrench Nr.200 .
- 1.3. Press suspension/stabilizer -1- outwards and remove it.
- Perform the process in the same way on the opposite side.
- Mark the installation position -arrow- of the anti-roll-bar mount halves with respect to the anti-roll bar with a touch-up stick.
- Unscrew fastening screws -1- .
- Remove anti-roll-bar mount -2- .
- Perform the process in the same way on the opposite side.
- Disconnect the compressor.
- 7.1. Screw on fastening screws -1- .
- 7.2. Tilt compressor -2- downwards and secure it with a tie-wrap to prevent it from falling.
- Secure steel flexi-pipes on the anti-roll bar with a tie-wrap.
- Pull anti-roll bar -1- to the right and out. When doing so, pay particular attention to the steel flexi-pipes that are still connected.
