Remove circlip. |
Do not confuse circlip no. 1 with circlip no. 3 on the inner joint. The two parts are not identical. Carefully slide the circlip onto the joint pin from above. Ensure that the circlip is seated correctly. |

Remove the joint from the shaft using an aluminum mandrel and by hitting the ball hub (star-shaped inner ring) hard several times with a hammer. |
Fit the joint on the shaft. To do this, press circlip no. 3 together as required so that the joint slides over it easily when you tap it with a rubber hammer. |
