Preliminary Work

  1. Remove front (air-) spring strut. → 408519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SPRING STRUT  → 433019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT AIR-SPRING STRUT
  2. Right side only:  Remove DME control unit (for easier access to the trailing arm connection on the body) → 247019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DME CONTROL UNIT
