Installing Transmitter (Trigger) For TPM

Information 

Before installing the transmitter (trigger), visually check the transmitter (trigger) and plug connection with regard to the following points:

• Damage to the housing  .
• Damage to the contacts on the transmitter (trigger)  .
• Damage to the connector and contacts on the vehicle wire harness  .
• Dirty contacts. 

If the transmitter (trigger) is damaged, replace it.

If the wire harness, connector or contacts are damaged, repair them in accordance with the relevant safety instructions using the Repair kit for Cayenne wire harnesses NR.155-2  .

If the contacts are dirty, clean them.

1. Install transmitter (trigger) for TPM.

   Information 

   Ensure that lines are routed correctly!

   1. 1.1. Fit transmitter (trigger) for TPM into the holder -arrow A-  .
   2. 1.2. Press transmitter (trigger) for TPM into the holder -arrow B-  until the holder engages securely.

2. Plug in connector -arrow-  until it engages securely.
