Installing Control Unit For Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM)

Information
Before installing the control unit for Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM), visually check the control unit and plug connection with regard to the following points:
- Damage to the housing.
- Damage to the contacts on the control unit.
- Damage to the connector and contacts on the vehicle wire harness.
- Dirty contacts.
If the control unit is damaged, replace it.
If the wire harness, connector or contacts are damaged, repair them in accordance with the relevant safety instructions using > VAS 1978/14A - Hot-Air Blower and > VAS 1978/1A - Crimping pliers.
If the contacts are dirty, clean them.
- The Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) control unit is installed in reverse order to removal.
- Tighten the two plastic fastening nuts.
