Installing Radiator
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Do not open the air-conditioning system if at all possible when removing the radiator module . Do not bend the lines
Do not bend the lines when installing the radiator module.
- Carefully slide in the radiator from above.
Sliding in radiator
- Press the securing frame and radiator together.
- Slide on the metal clips -Arrows-
used to secure the securing frame to the radiator.

- Secure the power-steering cooler. To do this, push the power-steering cooler from left to right into the holder (-A-
) and then clip the lines into the holder (-B-
).

- Slide the holders into the rubber sleeve for the radiator at the left and right sides -Arrows -
.
Supports for radiator at the sides
- Install both holders -Arrows-
at the left and right of the radiator. To do this, push the clips into the holders from above and clip them in.
Fastening screws for radiator
- Tighten fastening screws -6-
securing lock carrier to the holder.
> Tightening torque 5 (3.5 ftlb.) Nm
- Tighten fastening screws -7 and 8 -
securing bumper to the holder.
> Tightening torque 25 (19 ftlb.) Nm
- Position the holder and tighten the fastening screw -5-
used to secure the holder for the power-steering cooler lines.

- Tighten the fastening screw -3-
securing the line holder to the ATF cooler (right in direction of travel) and the fastening screw -4-
securing the line holder to the condenser (left in direction of travel).

- Slide breather hose -2-
onto the right side of the radiator and fit the spring band clamp.

- Push on the coolant hose -1- and then slide on the safety clip for the adapter. The safety clip must lock with an audible click.
