Installing Sun Blind

Information 

• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 
• Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. 

Information 

The sun blind sliders and operating cables must not be greased.

1. Slide the sun blind -1-  complete with the sun blind holders -2-  and drivers -4-  into the sun blind module -3-  and position it.

2. Screw in fastening screws used to secure the guide -3-  at the top -2-  and bottom -5-  to the frame -4-  and tighten to Tightening Torque 3 Nm (2 ft. lb.)  until secure.

3. Guide the sun blind -1-  together with the driver -4-  into the rail -A-  until the driver locks on the sun blind slider -2-  .

   Check that the fabric is fitted correctly. → Positioning fabric

4. Install sun blind strut.
   1. 4.1. Slide the strut onto the sun blind at the side.
   2. 4.2. Press down the locking mechanism -3-  on the left side -A-  .

   3. 4.3. Slide the strut -4-  fully to the left side -B-  .
   4. 4.4. On the opposite side, slide the strut -4-  onto the sun blind slider -2-  from the rear -C-  .

   5. 4.5. Slide the sun blind strut to the right -D-  until the locking mechanism -3-  engages.
