Installing Front Bumper
Information
- Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.
- Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.
- Fit the bumper between the lock carrier and longitudinal member from underneath and position it.
- Installation is performed in reverse order to removal.
- Tighten fastening screws for the body to Tightening torque 60 Nm (44 ftlb.) +/-5 Nm (+/-3.5 ftlb.) .
- Tighten fastening screws on body mounts to Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.) +/-2.5 Nm (+/-2 ftlb.) .
- Tighten fastening screws on the lock carrier to Tightening torque 12 Nm (9 ftlb.) +/-1 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.) .
- Tighten fastening screw on the lock support to Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) +/-9 Nm (+/-6.5 ftlb.) .
