Preliminary Work

  1. If the control unit for the electric parking brake has to be replaced, the values must be read out before removal using PIWIS Tester II 9818  . → 466255 REPLACING CONTROL UNIT FOR ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE .
  2. Remove side trim panel for rear luggage compartment at the right. → REMOVING SIDE TRIM PANEL FOR REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT - section on "Removing"
