Removing Rear-View Mirror Housing (Upper Part)

Information 

• The number of fastening screws, fixing clips, plug connections, holders and trim panels can vary depending on equipment. 
• The illustrations for removing and installing the drive mechanism are shown only on one equipment variant and may differ from the actual equipment variant. 
• Some steps must be carried out automatically. 
• Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. 

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-  .
2. Move upper part of housing -2-  in the lower, front area -arrows-  forward and up at the same time and unclip at lower part of housing -3-  .
3. Unclip upper part of housing -2-  all the way around and lift it up as far as required until the electric plug connections are accessible.

4. Disconnect electric plug connections -1-  .
5. Remove upper part of housing -2-  .
