Removing Wire Harness For Removable Trailer Hitch
NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit
→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.
- Cut tie-wrap -1- .
- Open up cover of socket housing -1- and unscrew fastening screws -2- .
- Push rubber sleeve -3- back from the socket housing in direction of arrow.
- Disengage catches -4- on the socket housing -1- using a suitable tool -arrows- and pull off socket housing -1- (-arrow A- ).
- Guide connector -5- and rubber sleeve -3- through the cut-out on the trailer hitch.
- Unscrew fastening screw -1- from the connector holder.
- Release electric plug connection on the holder -2- at both sides -arrows a and disconnect it -arrow B- .
- Release electric plug connection on the trailer hitch control unit -2- (-arrow a- ) and disconnect it -arrow B- .
- Press rubber sleeve -3- outwards -arrow- and pull wire harness -4- through the opening.
- Cut tie-wraps -5- .
