Move Convertible Top To Service Position

→ Do not move the hood to the "Close" position by electrical means when in service position.

1. Switch on ignition.
2. Unlock convertible top and raise convertible-top compartment lid to its top position.

3. Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
4. Disengage strip on cloth covering -1-  in a downward direction out of the combination holder -2-  at the left and right.

5. Raise convertible top -1-  slightly at the rear -Arrow A-  . Press the ball socket of the left and right tension cables -2-  out of the ball head of the adjusting piece -3- (-Arrow B-)  .

6. Pull Velcro fastener of the retaining strap -1-  off the tension bow and engage it on the centering journal -2-  at the front.
