WM 303019 Removing And Installing Clutch Slave Cylinder - 6-Speed Transmission: Removing

  1. Remove left transmission bracket with hydraulic mount.

    Support transmission before removing the transmission bracket! When supporting the transmission, ensure that there is no tension on the screws on the transmission bracket -A-. 

    Unscrew nuts -arrows-  on hydraulic mount -B- 

    1. Transmission bracket
    2. Hydraulic mount
    3. Fastening nut (never loosen!)

    Unscrew screws -arrows-  on transmission bracket -A-  and remove transmission bracket -A-  together with hydraulic mount.

  2. Lever off shift cable and connecting rods.

    Lever off shift cable -1-  and connecting rods -2, 3-  at the exterior shift mechanism -4-  .

    3. Connecting rod
    4. Exterior shift mechanism

  3. Remove exterior shift mechanism.
    1. 3.1. Unscrew nut -arrow-  .

    2. 3.2. Pull exterior shift mechanism off the shifting shaft. Use puller 9736  to do this.

  4. Disconnect clutch line on the clutch slave cylinder.

    Close off the clutch line with a stopper.

  5. Unscrew screw -arrow-  and pull clutch slave cylinder out of the guide.
