Piston Markings

Markings on piston crown:  Replacement pistons are available from Porsche Parts Service only in dimensional group X  and in two weight groups + and -  . The weight groups are listed in the table.

• Marking X  appears as a large colored stamp in the middle of the piston crown, small as an engraved feature -1-  .
• Marking + or -  appears as a large colored stamp in the middle of the piston crown, small as an engraved feature -2-  .
