Installing Tension Straps

Information 

If the aluminum rivets for securing the tension strap are drilled out too big/too deeply, the main folding top bow and corner bow can become damaged. Check the drill bit diameter and drill depth required for the rivets from the parts package (rivets → Diameter: 4 mm → Length: 12 mm).

Information 

  1. Place top tension strap -1-  on the inside of the main folding top bow -2-  , position correctly and secure with a blind rivet -3-  .

    Information 

    • Only use aluminum rivets from the parts package. 
  2. Place top tension strap -1-  on the inside of the corner bow -4-  , position correctly and secure with a blind rivet -3-  .

    Information 

    • Only use aluminum rivets from the parts package. 
  3. Place bottom tension strap -1-  on the inside of the corner bow -2-  , position correctly and secure with a blind rivet -3-  .

    Information 

    • Only use aluminum rivets from the parts package. 
  4. Bend bottom tension strap -1-  outwards -arrow-  and fit on the tension bow -4-  using the retainer plate, position correctly and secure with a blind rivet -3-  .
