Installing Front Belt Lock

→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.

→ Observe specified tightening torques.

→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.

Information 

Always replace the fastening screws on the seat-belt buckle after customer service and reworking. The micro-self-locking screws must not be treated, greased or loosened and then screwed on again.

1. Install front belt lock.
   1. 1.1. Guide front belt lock -2-  in through the opening on the seat shell -arrow A-  .
   2. 1.2. Secure front belt lock -2-  with the fastening screw -1-  . → Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)+/-5 Nm (+/-3.5 ftlb.) 
   3. 1.3. Pull wire harness -3-  through the seat frame -arrow B-  .

2. Join connector socket.
   1. 2.1. Push the single connectors -3-  into the connector socket -1-  (-arrow-  ) until the single connectors engage securely.
   2. 2.2. Secure the wire harness with a new tie-wrap -2-  on the connector socket -1-  .

3. Insert the connector socket into the seat shell -arrow A-  and turn it 90° to the right -arrow B-  .

4. Secure wire harness for front belt lock -2-  with new tie-wraps -1-  .
