Removing Body Front Section

  1. Remove hinge pillar reinforcement on the left and right. → REMOVING HINGE PILLAR REINFORCEMENT
  2. Remove door hinge (on body side) at the left and right. → REMOVING DOOR HINGE (ON BODY SIDE)
  3. Mill off spotwelds
    1. 3.1. Mill off spotwelds in area -A-  using a spotweld cutter.
    2. 3.2. Mill off spotwelds at the left and right in areas -B-  and -C-  using a spotweld cutter (2 plate thicknesses).

  4. Mill off spotwelds at the left and right
    1. 4.1. Mill off spotwelds at the left and right in area -A-  using a spotweld cutter.

  5. Separate welded seams at the left and right
    1. 5.1. Separate welded seams at the left and right in areas -A, B, C-  using a parting grinder.

  6. Mill off spotwelds at the left and right
    1. 6.1. Mill off spotwelds at the left and right in area -A-  using a spotweld cutter.

  7. Mill off and separate welded joints at the left and right
    1. 7.1. Mill off spotwelds at the left and right in areas -A-  and -B-  using a spotweld cutter.
    2. 7.2. Mill off spotwelds on the left and right in area -C-  using a spotweld cutter (2 plate thicknesses).
    3. 7.3. Separate welded seams at the left and right in area -D-  using a parting grinder.

  8. Separate spotwelds at the left and right
    1. 8.1. Mill off spotwelds at the left and right in areas -A-  and -B-  using a spotweld cutter.

  9. Separate welded seams at the left and right
    1. 9.1. Separate welded seams at the left and right in area -A-  using a parting grinder.

  10. Mill off and separate welded joints at the left and right from the inside
    1. 10.1. Mill off spotwelds at the left and right in area -A-  using a spotweld cutter.
    2. 10.2. Mill off spotwelds on the left and right in area -B-  using a spotweld cutter (2 plate thicknesses).
    3. 10.3. Separate welded seams at the left and right in areas -C, D, E-  using a parting grinder.

  11. Mill off spotwelds
    1. 11.1. Mill off spotwelds in areas -A, B, C-  using a spotweld cutter.
    2. 11.2. Mill off spotwelds in areas -D-  and -E-  using a spotweld cutter (2 plate thicknesses).
